Hey guys!
My sister, who lives in the GTA, called me tonight to let me know that there's a huge Halloween store in the Woodbine Shopping Center on Rexdale Blvd. (Creepy Halloween or something like that). She said that she saw all kinds of gross, crazy things and props, and that the people who work there were all wearing costumes...
If you happen to go there, please let me know if it's worth the 6-hour drive...![]()

Spirit shore in Ottawa –

There is a Spirit store in Ottawa on Carling Ave. across from Carlingwood Mall. It is in the old Canadian Tire, so it is quite large. It is not too bad at all - and I know they said they are getting more stuff.
No need to drive 6 hours!

Why don't you give me a list of everything you are looking for and I will check it out. I may head over tomorrow. I have been there twice already - I was the first customer through the door on opening day!
I am not sure if I saw the spider victim. They had the witch, headless bride, jason, hanibal lecter, the noose hanging guy, the floor crawler, the thing out of the toxic container, the weird looking guy on his knees and his head spun around (I can't think of the name but looked like something from deliverance!). Various head props. Lots of costumes. Smaller stuff like bats, chains etc are cheaper at walmart.
If you do drive down, let me know, we can meet up and compare notes!!
