Thread: Local Halloween Store Stinks.

They finally opened the nearest Halloween store - the only one within an hours drive- and it was the most disppointing thing ever! The store was huge, so I was pretty excited, until I got inside. They hadn't even filled 1/2 of the store with items. The entire back half was sadly empty. The 1/2 that was filled was 1/2 costumes and not even very good ones. They had several of those huge blow up yard things and then a ton of little rinky dink decorations.

*kicks ground* Back to home depot...

What does Home Depot have? I know they don't do Christmas very good though because the owner is Jewish, and thus no religious things, and not much of a selection like Menards.

What's the name of your Halloween store? I ran into the same thing with my local Spirit of Halloween store a few weeks back

Sorry to hear about your store. At least we have a spirit near us that had a bunch of stuff. It was filled half with costumes though. Stock the things that sell the most.
I just got back from Lowe's a few minutes ago and was I pi$$ed! The only Gemmy they had up now was the arch. All the others were gone. The store had a little endcap. Now though they have 2 alses of Christmas stuff. I looked at the manager, then the xmas stuff and just shook my head. Next year it will be out in June.

Junit, sounds pretty bad, but maybe the store will be filled out in a week or two.

WHAT! Pardon me Halloweenfan but are you a MORON or what? Home Depot, Lowes, or any store for that matter stocks items that it thinks it can sale. If Home Depot WAS owned by a Jewish man or woman and they thought they could sell millions of dollars worth of Christmas or Halloween items you better bet your bottom dollar they would be selling it just as much as if it was owned by Muslims, Buddhist, or Hindu’s. Matter of fact the last time I looked HD was a publicly owned and traded company if I'm not wrong? Dude, or is it Dude'et your statment smacks of anti-semitism!

I can understand a difference in facts or opinions but, I thought at least this site wouldn't have the name calling or accusations. What a disappointment.

It's a great site. I have been on here for a few years now and this stuff never happens. It's just a misunderstanding, I'm sure.

Yes, this place is a bit different from the rest of the interwebs where this kind of thing is common. Personally, I'ld like to keep it that way.

AT LEAST YOUR LOOKING EARLY.
With the Internet at your fingers you have access to the largest store in the world and you can browse many different shops all from the comfort of your home. All good stores dispatch same day and you could have all your great halloween gear by the next day. So have a ghostley time shopping online
