I was wondering if anyone would know where I could obtain a full set of black curtains at or from. I need these for a new addition to my hauntings for halloween this year.

Do you sew or know someone that does?
Buying the material & sewing them yourself might be cheaper.

I know IKEA has some but they are rather thin. What exactly are you looking for?

just regular black curtains??? Go to walmart. i actually have black curtains in my room. vampires don't like the sun light as you know.... they were actually only $ 8.00 i think if not less. there plain black thick panals. 2 comes in the pack. ikea curtains are cheap material and thin and expensive for the crappy quality that it is.

I generally do not shop at Wal-Mart but last year they were the only place online that I could find black curtains. They were very cheap, ok quality. The ones I got were velvet like. I actually took them down for nicer permanent curtains. Another idea is black sheets. Depends what you need them for. If you are interested in the curtains, I could send them to you, if you like. Let me know and I can measure and take pictures and see about shipping and stuff.

3 weeks ago I grabbed long black full length curtains at Linen's & Things during their retail stores out of business sale. They were 75% off and cost me about $20 for the pair. I am not sure if they their retail stores are still open (or if only a certain # of stores were closing) but could be a source that are on heavily discounted clearance.

If it doesn't HAVE To be cloth, you might look into those plastic table-cloth rolls or trash bags-- even 99-cent plastic table cloths can be sewn together to make curtains. You can leave them in one piece of cut them into strips and pull the ends to give it a more tattered feel.
