...Does Halloween please the most?
It's a toss-up for me between the visual sense with Halloween decorations inside & out, and taste getting satisfied with caramel apples. Sound runs a close second with Halloween themed music, then smell with Fall themed candles (good one: Yankee Candle Harvest wreath - mmmmm).

I would say it would visual because of the decorations. I do like taste in Candy Corn, Pumpkin and Ghost cookies, along with chocolate caramel apples, but I think it's more visual.

Its all about the visual sense for me. I love decorating and moving the items back and forth to make just the right collaboration of decorations. There is an art to it really. You cant just throw stuff together. The fun part for me is mixing just the right combination of vintage and new decor and somehow add a drop of glitter to the mix as well. People always comment on how my house has a nice flow to it. That it doesnt just look like I threw stuff together. I like that so for me I guess its the visual.
Linus: You've heard about fury and a woman scorned?
Charlie Brown: Yes, I guess I have.
Linus: Well that is nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of tricks or treats!

Same here, visual is #1. Just seeing the leaves change all the Halloween stuff truely puts a smile on my face.
Was driving home from work when it was a cool gloomy day here, first day I could sense fall and see things changing. I was driving with a smile on my face, people probably thought I was nuts.
Purely and simply evil

Smell is mine too. Absolutely. Jacks Attic, you hit about 90% of it on the head, with me. There's always a day each year where I step outside and it smells different... like change.

Absolutely!
Especially the burning wood/dead leaves, crisp air. You nailed it.
Oh and of course pumpkins!
I've been looking at halloween/fall scented yankee candles but they're ridiculously over-priced and having spent a months paycheck already i'm having to cutback.
But the colors and decorations also play a big part of course.

i am going to rock the boat and say that Halloween effects my 'touch'.... i really like the chill in the air around this time of year.
I like going outside and having the hair on my arms stand up.
I like going for a jog and being able to see my breath.
I LOVE going out at night and having to wear my thick sweaters...

Come on people. The best part of halloween is having the #$&% scared out of you.

I'd say visual closely followed by smell. I can't describe the smell in the air that signals the change of season for me. And the smell of plastic and latex, from masks and such, really signals Halloween for me. And seeing more of the color orange around makes it Halloweeny for me too.
13 is my lucky number
