    Hi Everyone!

I have a full verandah at the front of my house - yes it is great for decorating!

My dilemma is that I would like to have something/someone on the roof of the verandah, perhaps coming out one of the bedroom windows. I know I will have to rig lighting up there as well.

I have a full graveyard in the front plus lots of fun extras.

Let's see some ideas from all you creative folk!

Here is a photo of the front of the house - sorry it is not very good. My neighbour took it the day before halloween as we were still setting up. He has a thing about flashes!

I have yellow and blue spot lights at various spots, and two fog machines going on halloween night.

You can see my verandah in the back ground - it is an ideal spot to set something up.

    oops I will re-post

Giant spiderweb with spider and victims.

The angle of that roof is too steep for a prop body (for a scene), so the spider thing is the first thing that popped into my head.

I saw that over the weekend, thought it looked pretty tight.

I like the spider web idea. You could probably get away with some static props if you had a way to secure them good. Or you could always have something inside the top windows if you plan on keeping the blinds up.

    Thanks for some great ideas!

I saw the guy on a rope at the spirit store, I think he was in the $200 range. He is very good! They had him set up in a cage, he has a half body. But I think a little too scary for some of the small TOT I get here - we are in a small subdivision, with no through streets. Lots of little ones. I have lots of small children who will not come up the driveway as it is! Some will cry....LOL I did buy the crawling/moaning woman - gee not too scary eh? I also have the gemmy witch (very nice actually) the kicking legs, which I set up with the guillotine.

I have a huge latex spider and a 9' web. I also think I am going to do the web victims. I was at walmart yesterday and they had two packs of tarantulas for
.94 cents. The fellow who has the spider room gave me some great ideas too.

    This creative stuff is great!
