Hi, I'm new to the forum. I just love all the great Ideas everyone has! This is by far the best Halloween forum I have found.
Anyway, I shop year-round at my locate St Vincents and also a Hospital auxillary run thrift store in the town I work in. I went today and found some awesome stuff on my lunch break. I got a wedding dress with veil for $6, a cool
lavendar ball gown for $4(not sure what i'll do with it yet) plus a huge cauldron for $1.50 and a black wicker basket with wooden bat details for $1. I spent like $40 total, but got tons of stuff. Our thrift stores keep their prices pretty cheap. I like to pick up glass bottle for my witch potions year round and never pay more that $2 for any of them.

I have my dining roon decorated already. Will post pictures. Can't do the outside until closer to Halloween as I will have to keep our puppy tied up until I take them down or she will chew up everything! (We live on a dairy farm in the country).

Welcome ScardyCat! I love thrifting as well. You can pick up all sorts of unique goodies for really cheap prices. I'm jealous that you found a wedding dress with a veil for $6 though! I'm getting married next month and haven't lucked into finding a veil at any of my thrift haunts.

So far I have scored a ghost cookie jar for $6, some really old bottles for my labels that I spent between 49 cents and 2 dollars on and some cute Halloween tins to decorate with.

Welcome to the HalloweenForum, ScardyCat! I also love thrifting. I am somewhat obsessed with it and I think I go into withdrawal if I don't go for a few days! You got some great items.
