Hey, anybody know where I can get some, okay, a LOT of LED M5 string lights (like the mini Christmas lights) for a price that won't break the bank?
I'm hoping that my DH gets me Animated Lighting's Haunted House in a Box!

Halloweenscreaqueen,
I was in Menards on Sunday and I just bought a 30 orange light LED halloween string (7' light length) for $3.59. I have never seen them that low. what about the rest of you. What are the prices like in your area?
I want to convert all my lights (last year I had over 2000 mini lights) to LED but I will never have that kind of budget.
But this is a small start.

OMG!!! I wish we had a Menards around here!! We found some really cheap Christmas LEDs last year at Lowes or Home Depot (can't remember which). About the same price, but they're the multicolored and plain white C7s. Perfect for Christmas, but I want purple, green, orange, and red!!

Yeah, no Menards here in S. Fla.
But you're right, halloweenscreamqueen, LED string lights are not cheap ($9.99) each for a string of 60. Orange or purple....
But, they do use alot less power (like 70% less I think) and they do last a long time.
So they are a good investment over a long period of time.
I bought 2 strings of purple LEDs @ Target 2 years ago on clearance (they were $3.99 each) and I still use them!!My YouTube Channel: HERE

yeah, the LED lights are a great idea and a great power-saver...but my money has to go elsewhere this year. I was looking at the LED lights in Costco and here (Canada) they were $17.99 for a set of 70 lights.
I have a good 15-20 sets of the regular mini lights that need to be replaced. They all still work, and so I'm not ready to invest $300+ in LED lights. However, if I happen to spy any on clearance after halloween, I'll use them next year."You know you take the killing for granted. And then it's gone. And you're like, I wish I'd appreciated it more. I have a string of the purple ones from Target and I've been very pleased. They put off a dim diffuse glow that's a bit hard to focus on. Perfect for Halloween!

I stopped at Walgreens today and looked in a clearance item
tray. It was a bunch of boxes that were messed up or things that were broken
like an eye missing.
Anyways, they had the really tiny tiny lights for 1.99;
only sixteen of them but they are pretty dang on bright.
They had orange and purple.
