Im going to the voodoo festival right before halloween. IS there any really good Halloween stores in that area that might some cool stuff?

Cool, I didn't know that they had a festival for voodoo there. Curious to know what that's like when you get back. : )

Well its really a music festival (i think lol). Nine inch Nails, panic at the disco, Angels and airwaves , joss stone ect ect are going to be there.

In the French Quarter, there are plenty of interesting tourist trap spots that have voodoo and black magic themed items. Voodoo dolls, skeleton parts, gris gris bags and other such items.

madame lavoies (not sure about the spelling), has a bunch of voodoo dolls. Just walk down any street and you will find a ton of stuff on the black arts.

Now as far as halloween decorations and props, you will probably need to go to the canal street indoor mall.

I wish I could head over for the festival! I LOVE New Orleans!!

Madame Leveaus is the best! All kinds of spooky things in there all year...I bet its great at Halloween! I bought a fertility bracelet there last year (haven't used it yet, althought my mom nearly passed out in excitement when she saw me buying it lol!)

You are going to be next to two of the top ten haunts in the US. Hose of shock is in N.O and 13th Gate is in Baton Rouge. I would make the trip just for those two haunts.
