I would like to cover a wall with printed slides of roaches or spiders. Idea is to make it look as though the wall is covered with roaches/spiders. Is there any way to make it look like they're moving? Would a strobe light give that effect?

They have the roach sillouetes that you can buy and stick on the wall. Some body told me you can just get black paper and cut out roaches and stick them on the wall. I'm sure that a strobe light would give the moving effect.

Goto Oriental Trading Co's site & buy bulk fake bugs online. Then just either velcro or hot glue them to whatever surface & turn on your strobe light.

Spirit store has bags of roaches, 30 for $5.00 (but, use their 20% coupon). We just bought a bag for my wife's Mrs. Lovett (from Sweeney Todd) set up. I wonder if you used thin thread or fishing line and hung them very close to the wall from the ceiling, if there would be some motion? Maybe with a rotating fan directed at them...
The expensive way - video projector, and animated roaches making random movements in a digital file or dvd that repeats...
