I haven't tried one, but I saw them at Party City and a few other places. I think there are a few standard ghosts that they maybe have pre exposed on the film so when you take your photo, the ghost is on the print. I think it is similar to the cameras that have borders that get printed out on your photo. The pictures on the package looked kinda lame. I'd think it would look much better if you photoshoped your own.

Bought one last year off EBay just to see,it's a pre exposure of people / ghosts in 1700-1800
attire. Problem was that when you take the pic you don't know how they will print out & look.
Some were floating in air but didn't really match well with you subject..... cute idea though. When you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........

My son bought one last year. They are pretty kewl. As Dark Lord mentioned, sometimes it just looks goofy, but we had a few come out perfect. One thing to try, is just snap some pix of random things, and leave some room for the ghost to appear. We took a picture of my grandmothers backyard, and a tombstone with a skeleton coming out was positioned perfectly in the grass! Then one pic we took of the kids with some friends, showed another ghost standing next to them. So sometimes it comes out really kewl. They're fun. I just looked for the pix, but he no longer has them, and I never scanned them into the computer.

Aww shame. It would be nice to see some ones that worked out ok.
Yes, I thought they wouldn't generally be able to match the areas around. The pictures on the box are most likely altered. I mean, you'd probably get a sitting down ghost in the air or something! haha.
One for the kids really, isn't it?

I'll let you know after our party this year. We bought one for chuckles. I'm sure we'll get a bunch of goofy shots and one or 2 cool ones at best, but it sounded fun.

My wife and I bought one at "Big Lots" just today.
We thought we would take some shots of our cemetery and maybe get lucky and get a couple of good pics.
They only cost $4.00 each.

Can someone post their pics after they have them developed? I'd like to see how well they work, too.
