Thought I would let you know that there is something in the October issue of Martha Stewart Living that is very different. There is an article about things that glow in blacklight and how to decorate your home with that in mind. I t was kinda neat to have elegent style decorations that just so happen to glow. One of the things they are talking about is Vaseline glass, which I myself collect. If you set the table with it and only use a blacklight your table setting glows a beautiful eerie green (that's which color I have). Check out this issue. There is some other cool stuff too like the jointed skeleton and owl invitations that look like those old Beistle decorations. You can also see those on the website.

OK I had to do a Wiki search for vaseline glass! I've seen the green glassware in antique stores but I never knew it was called that. Learn something new everyday!
Anyway, I can imagine that it would make a stunning Halloween table. Gotta love that Martha!
I do wish she'd done a special Halloween issue this year though. Hers are my favorites...

Yea her Halloween only issue is my favorite too. Alot of people make fun of her but I think her Halloween ideas are great. No not for my haunt (well some are) But mostly for the inside of my actual house. I like the inside of my house to look haunted but not really scary.

I picked this up yesterday and it was very fun to look through! I especially like her pumpkins..the bird in a cage one, and the mouse hole pumpkin. Definitely doing those this year! Her glow pages were beautiful.

Martha Stewart really IS awesome when it comes to Halloween decorating! She goes all out yet remains classy about it without being overly gawdy. I look for her mag every year.

I also got the magazine and a little disappointed that there isn't more... Come on writers you can hire us to come in and give you idea's for the magazine.

True, I expected more,too. But..she has to save somethings for her website and her show. Overall, comparing all of the Halloween mag's available, hers was the best.

Definitely always look forward to her issues and shows.

I enjoy her Halloween magazines, always has cute things that aren't overly gorey or cheesy. Her website has a lot of great things on it too, I assume they're from previous years?

Will someone scan it for me so I can look too? lol
