We had our first frost last night!!!!!!!! and today, it smells like fall out!!!

It is getting cooler in the mornings here in Mississippi.

Here in the SW of Chicago, the morning and nights are a bit chilly & you can definately smell & feel Fall is coming...ah, can't wait

Here in Texas the mornings and evenings have been VERY cool. It's wonderful. A couple nights ago, in our backyard, we saw the first glowbug in YEARS and even a bat! There were three bats fluttering around last night, tis the season!

I am happy to be able to finally open up the windows in the house at night!

You're lucky. Our first frost usually doesn't happen until the end of October or early November. The nights here still haven't broken into the 50s, even though the weather keeps calling for 54-52 lows at night. I can't wait to get the genuine fall feeling, but it's hard to when the weather isn't helping you out.

EDIT: I just read a thread I posted nearly a year ago to this date, and I mentioned how our weather was breaking into the high 40s at night. How depressing.

here in TENNESSEE its still warm...i bummed b/c tommorow's first day of FALL & its warm...but it has been chilly @ night & mornings...i enjoy the FALL SEASON.........

Here in Florida, it definitely doesn't seem too much like fall, but at least it is starting to get cooler in the morning.

It's freezing here. I hope we don't get snow cause it takes away from the lovely fallness and hides the leaves and such
