I got back from Shoppers Drug Mart yesterday and guess what?? They have the Gemmy Animated Witch there for.......................149.99$!!!

It's 100$ less than at Sears! I scooped one up right away (they only had the demo left).

A Witch From Canada...if you want your witchy, you better go there right away!! They are litterally flying off the shelves and selling like hotcakes!!

I also saw some pretty neat stuff. A couple of huge skulls that light up, ground breakers with light up eyes, tombstones........things like that.

Go check it out, you'll be suprised!!

You all have Lowes by you? Same price there.

In fact, I bought 2 yesterday : one for me, and one for the Witch from Canada - she just couldn't believe the price!! The clerk looked at me like I was deranged or something - I bought 400$ worth of Halloween stuff from a drug store, and nothing else, not even toothpaste or Advil!!!
(BTW here in Quebec Shopper's Drug Mart is called Pharmaprix)

DeadTed - I think I saw a Lowes in the GTA (greater Toronto area), but I don't believe I ever saw one in Quebec...

i was there on sunday and they were just starting to assemble her and they couldnt tell me the price they didnt know at that time but boy if i had money that lady would be in my place for sure

Sweeeeet. I was just heading up there now for something totally unrelated and now I'm all psyched!! I can hear my credit card moaning pitifully in my wallet...

WOO HOO! Our Shoppers Drug Mart got one (and ONLY one) in...and they are holding it for me until I can pick it up on my way home tonight.

I have always found that Shoppers had *great* Halloween stuff.

I picked up an incredible 7 foot tall skeleton there a couple years ago for $50!!
Solid too, not that blown plastic crapola.
Keep going back to look for another one, but no dice.

Saw the witch, but don't think I will pick it up.
For those in the area, there were 2 at the Shoppers in the Sunrise Centre in Kitchener, Ontario.

We have a few Lowe's here in Ontario... One in Brantford for sure. How is their selection?

I just had my car battery die on me on my way up to Shoppers! After waiting 2 hours in the middle of rush hour traffic for a tow I totally forgot about what I going out for. Oh well, maybe tomorrow...
