I am heading to Quantico, VA next week and Halloween shopping will of course be a top priority. There are a lot of stores that we don't have in Canada and I am looking for some direction. I am familiar with the usual suspects: Target, Macy's, JC Penney, Spirit, Dollar Tree, Party City, Walgreen's, etc. What stores do I have to hit? Are there any that aren't worth the trouble?
My style is more spooky/goth and definetly not cute or gorey (if that helps).
    Thanks!

    remember "aint" means isn't
"my better" means wife or husband
"yonto?" means do you wish to come along?

Ohoh! I live in Virginia but I never heard of that place haha.

I think you pretty much got all stores, have you been to Factory And Card
    Outlet?

It's something along those lines, its stuck on my tongue!
They have a couple aisles of Halloween things.

Quantico = Marine Corps Base. Seeing where Wonderfully Wicked is located, assume this is a business trip?

You might find something at Potomac Mills, the big mall near there. Otherwise, I'm afraid I don't spend enough time in that part of the Commonwealth...but welcome!

Walgreens is a haunter's best kept secret. They have the best realistic vinyl rubber bats!
I've found the same items at other stores but, they were much higher then Walgreens. Spencer Gifts is always good for Halloween stuff, this time of the year. Some of the speciality Halloween stores will have a wide variety but, usually at a higher cost. Don't forget your goth needs at Hot Topic.

    Hello my fellow Canadian friend!

When I go to the States, I usually try to stop by the following :

    Spirit
Michael's (mosty if you're into craft, but they do have decorations)
Wal-Mart (they don't have the same stuff we do...)
I also heard that Lowes has some stuff...

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I will add them to my list....This could be dangerous.
-I appreciate the welcome Auditor. I am really looking forward to your summer-like weather and Cherry Coke. Man, I love that stuff.
-How right you are, texmaster. I was in New Orleans (Nawlins) last X-mas and met some people that I seriously could not understand. I speak French as well, which I thought might be helpful with their Acadian/Cajun roots, but not so much.
Now, where is that extra suitcase?
