Thread: Remember those bats?

I want to add a few more bats to my hallways but the ones I have in mind are quite specific. I believe they were sold at WalMart and Michael's the past 2 years. Their bodies are covered in a kind of feathery, fluffy, fur and the wings had a hint of blue sparkle. Has anyone seen these this year?

Depends on where in Canada you are...in Ontario I have not seen those bats I believe they will show up later this month or more into October they have only scratched the surface with their (Walmart) Halloween goodies.

I was at Walmart last night and noticed something they take pictures of their shelve set up and post a black and white (sometimes colour) on the shevles showing their Halloween products not really sure what the point of that is but that's a bit off topic...thought I'd throw that in there because it's a COOL concept none the less

As for those bats (and also the spiders are AWESOME I bought one last year they are furry as well and cover with tiny sparkles to give it some sort of affect at night with proper lighting) they are not out here as well but they are top sellers so be on the look out and I'm sure they'll show up soon..

You're exactly right, hurricanegame. The spiders you are referring to (I have a few suspended from the kitchen ceiling at the moment) are exactly the same style as the bats. I found the spiders at Michael's but the bats at WalMart this year are made of a grey/brown fabric. Hopefully you're right and I just need to be a little more patient......

I love the spiders I bought this huge one from Walmart and used it in my haunt last year!

I put spider webs all over a skeltaon body covered in clothing with stobe lights flashing and the spider looking as if he had eaten someone, it got a lot of comments I'm going to bring back the spider again and use it in my haunt!

I am going to buy a few more this year as well and some of those bats so yes I'm waiting for it as well lol

Has anyone seen the Mario Chiodo that has the latex head and the 3 foot wingspan? Pretty cool! Pricey ... but cool.
