Whats up everyone. So this year, I have the fogging couldrin and the Coffin that I made that I would like to add fog to. I think my best bet is Dry Ice. Anyone have any information they can share about how much to buy per night, how long does it last, how much does it cost, and where to get it in north nj

dry ice is fantastic. and not too expensive. I've found about 20 pounds will last a good night of fun but depending on your couldrin that could change. I would buy 20, try it out and see.
Personally, I use it to chill my fog and it works great!!

Here's a site I had bookmarked... I've used dry ice but it was long ago. I remember that it didn't last as long as I had hoped, but I thought it lasted longer that this site says. Anyway, here's the link

I should say mine is sealed in a container for chilling, not open to the elements.

10 lbs. for like $21 in my area - NJ. It lasts a long time for me. Only thing is that I constantly have to put warm water on it to stimulate the fogging effect. I tried using one of those small fogger things that float in water but it did not work well, so I'm back to dry ice.

One of those Mail Boxes, etc. stores that offers packing and shipping services. They don't have it at the store, you can call them, order it and they order from somewhere else. I also heard that ice cream stores or groceries may sell it to you right there and then but I haven't tried.

Ill 2nd the grocery store also. It is kinda pricey also and i think the warmer the water the better effect. Dont be sitting around breathing the gas either ive heard it has the same effect as sitting around breathing helium for too long it deprives you of oxygen and thats not a good thing or touch with bare hands. Cant route fog from a fogger into it? Dry ice just doesnt seem cost effective and it takes more work and have to be careful with it. Just seems like too much trouble to be honest.

The problem with dry ice is that as the water it is in gets cold the dry ice puts out less fog. Check out a transducer fogger available at you local spirit halloween store. I have used one for years and it will keep a constant fog in the your cauldron. Here is a link
