Happens to me all the time.

Sad thing is, I do this with everyday stuff too. My DH has to go on a wild goose hunt at least once a week to find something that I've "put away" a little too well, and I have no idea where to even begin looking.

Sometimes weeks will pass, and while going through something else, that item we were frantically searching for pops up - and I have no memory of putting there.

Think I'm haunted or have a split personality?

That's funny My daughter gets up sleep walking and hides her cell phone from herself. I can't tell you how many times we have all had to look for it first thing in the morning. It's eerie really. Now she puts it in a box with a note on the front that says DON'T HIDE ME. She's so silly. But it works.

    Sorry off topic a little

That happens to me all the time. I shop AFTER Halloween for most of my new purchases and I"ll pick up new toys to give to TOTs and thrift store finds all year long. By the time September rolls around, I a have usually forgotten about 70% of the stuff I've accumulated.

Opening my H'Day stuff IS like Christmas morning!

I agree with the joker, got to love the halloween fairy. She left me a Jason I had wanted this year. I try real hard to hit all stores in the area having after halloween sale. I'm like a ninja bringing home my loot. hid the bags from the wife and later tuck them safely away after wards. Out of sight out of mind until the next year. And when I do open the boxes I also feel like its Christmas.
Don't die around me if you don't wont to end up on the front lawn on HALLOWEEN
