I am trying to locate dark purple lights for my haunt. I have been to the typical department stores (Target, Walmart) but the only lights they are stocking are the light to medium purple.

Has anyone seen the dark variety for sale.

Like blacklight?

I bought 2 sets of purple LEDs last year @ Target for $3.99 each (clearance) by Philips. They are more of a royal purple, but look really cool in the dark. Spencer's or Spirit might have them, as I did not see them at my Target. http://www.target.com/halloween

Your basic mini light. LED would be preferable but as stated I have only seen those in a royal purple. I purchased numerous black/purple mini lights several years back but have seen nothing like them since.

Try Walgreens, I believe I saw them there. Not blacklight though.

Can you post a pic of them? That might help too.
