Any thing by Hearshes = good. Anything thing else= not so good. Just a personal preference.

I think My very least favorite is Candy Corn. You just can't be too sure about how old it realy is.

Favorites: peanut butter cups, m&m's, snickers, crunch bars, nerds

Yucks: candy corn! raisins! dots, jujubees, licorice, fun size hershey's bars. they never tasted the same as the full size ones, which I like.

I trick-or-treated during the sixties, so full-sized candy bars were the norm. Favorites: Clark bars, Zagnuts, 5th Avenue, Nestle Crunch. Chunky's used to be a family favorite until my sister bit into one and found a worm - 45 years later, neither of us will even try to eat one.
Someone mentioned popcorn balls on their "loathed" list - we used to line up at one neighbor's house for them. They alternated annually between freshly made hot popcorn balls and caramel apples. If they were between batches we'd just hang around until the next batch was done.
Wasn't fond of toffee or black licorice back then, except Good'n'Plenty, so I guess that would be on my loathed list along with apples (non-caramel). We didn't get much that wasn't desirable and my sister and I slept with our treat bags then hid them during the day while we were at school. Didn't trust each other and definitely not my dad.

I always loved PB cups, and I always HATED Circus Peanuts. Those orange "marshmallow" peanuts. YUCK!

PB cups were the favs. That and Tootsie Roll pops.

Anything licorice went into the trash pile.

Of course, in our house it was pointless to make piles, my dad would eat half of it before the next morning anyway.

I think there's maybe six or seven people in the US who actually calim to eat and enjoy candy corn. When I was a kid I had braces and the dentist gave me wax to put on them so they wouldn't iritate the inside of the mouth... That wax tasted pretty much the same as candy corn.

Give me a frozen Snickers bar any day...
