I have not seen any reference to this magazine on any thread, or maybe I missed it, but I thought that this magazine deserved its own thread anyhow

I bought this magazine on the weekend and thought that it was well worth the $5.99 price

The cover boasts 165 spooktacular ideas, and while some of them are a bit too cutesy, there seems to be something for everyone in this.

I especially like the tombstones section ... a great how to on a monument, as well as headstones.

The magazine also has pumpkin carvings, kids projects, recipes, costumes and party ideas.

Has any one else bought this issue and what are your thoughts ?

I bought it too. I think it's one of the best halloween time magazines I've ever bought. I agree that the cemetery section is almost by itself worth the price of admission, a great tombstone tutorial. Lots of beautiful autumn pictures as well. Also enjoyed the artist that makes vintage style paper mache figures.

Ya know...I stood staring at the magazines in Kroger just yesterday and none jumped out at me. I must have missed the BH&G's OR they were sold out I'll definitely pick it up today.

I am planing on building that monument/tombstone today, and I love those plywood trees.

Yea, I bought that magazine the other day. I really liked the issue from last year as well. My favorite part was the paper mache artist. I would love to have that large jack o lantern. But the tombstone article was the kind that gets you in the haunting mood (if you aren't already).

    I don't do "cutesy".

I wish someone would create and sell a magazine called, "How to make props and throw a Halloween party that will scare the hell out of everyone you know and make them question your sanity"!

Now there's a magazine I'd stand in line for!!!!
