Being just my second year haunting my yard I have to bubble and brag a bit. the Wife and I were out at a store buying supplies this morning (something to do while Ike brings rain to us here in DFW) and the clerk ask us what we were working on.

We told her we were working on Halloween Decorations and she just started in of 'OMG you have got to go up and see this one house, It is so cool with a haunted grave yard and everything!' She was almost star struck when we told her that she was talking about our place! then another clerk and a girl in line with us started ohing and awing over last year and asking what we were going to do this year.

They may only be local to North Arlington but hey I have Fans! Maybe in the future they will be fellow haunters!

That is cool and I know how you feel. Hubby works at the base and around Halloween folks out there start talking about TOT'ing and costumes and haunts and such and there is always someone that mentions "that one awesome house in Broadmoor".

    It's us!!!!

That is Awesome! I know what you'll be doing on Halloween from now on. And DON'T try to get out of it, cause it will NEVER work. <Enter evil laugh here> It's a good thing though.

Cool! That's one of the reason it's worth all the work we put into this...

    hahaha Thats great.

Reminds me of this kid a few years ago. He couldn't have been more than 7 or 8.

After we gave him the candy he got this real serious look on his face and leaned forward and said "I've been to every house in this neighborhood and yours is THE best."

I thanked him for his vote of confidence and kept the serious thing going

    That really was funny.

About 4 years ago my husband was out and passed a full manniquin in the garbage, of course he stopped and picked her up. Anyways some kids ( smart a$$'s) started taunting him and asked hey mister why do you want that naked manniquin?!. He said "I need it for my haunted house" , they stopped and said the one off of Hamilton Rd.?, He said ya and they said theyve been there and and liked our place. Funny how they went from brats toward him to interested in his next haunt! By the way we call that manniquin the "tramp". cause she had no clothes when we got her ,just a neck-tie on lol.
