Several weeks ago while helping to get a haunted house ready for halloween, I was asked if they could use the corpses I had made on their float in a parade.
Of course I said yes.
It was a float made up to look like a crypt with graves around it.
It was mainly to get folks interested in the haunted house.
It was a small town parade with no special theme, and I was not able to attend due to work so I don't know how many floats were there.
But a week after the parade I was told that the float won 2nd place.
What a suprise, a halloween float in August and we won 2nd place.
I was also told that the corpses I made is the reason we won.
Of course I can't take all the credit, after all the corpses would be nothing without the hard work and effort of the people who put the float together with the crypt and grave stones.
I am just pleased that something I made helped win a prize.

That's great! Our town fall festival parade is saturday and while anyone can join in I don't think there has ever been a halloween display in it. The streets are already decorated in corn stalks and scarecrows so I should get people to go further
