Every year we have an adult get together, walk through the haunt, eat some food, etc... This year I have plans to sell a t-shirt, but the one thing I really want to do is give away goodie bags to the adults.
Does anyone else do this for the adults at your party and if so, what are you putting in the bags? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

It's a pretty good idea.
You could also do something similar for the actual Halloween night, ya know? I wonder what you could put in there.
I guess I have no real input...just tagging along.

Hit the dollar DVDs at Wal-Mart/Dollar stores etc. give them Night of the Living Dead, The Last Man on Earth other classic horror flicks.

I'm doing gift bags for the adults at my Tombstone (western) themed party. They will include: decks of cards or card/poker sets, western shaped little soaps, candy (I'm thinking of using the little coffins I've got and filling them with candy), possibly a bandana; I might do a regular sized candy bar with the personalized wrapper; not sure what else, still working on it.
I've already bought a bunch of wooden frames from the DT and will hand deliver or mail them to the guests with their picture in it.
The DVD's I've got will go in prize baskets.
GP - does your party/haunt have a theme?

I am going with a witch theme this year. A lot of witch stuff, But I also have a wedding setup and a funeral.
Was thinking on the lines of a personalized handmade coin with a witch imprint stamped on it.
Of course fill the bag with all kinds of goodies, because you know some of the single adults at the party won't have the kid's bag to rummage through after halloween.
DVD's will be too expensive for my budget, when all the extra money I have is going into the food.
I am trying to offset the cost of the party, by pre saleing t-shirts with a very little mark up.
The dollar store is the best place to shop, but what is little items you can add in the bag, that wouldn't be considered childish, yet at the same time, related to Halloween?

I gave out the Dollar Store squish balls at the kids party with what looks like blood and bugs inside, but I think the adults had more fun with them. I also didn't find anyone who didn't like those little skellies on the garland.
Something even cheaper, how about packets of hot chocolate with your own witch labels added to them?

GP.....yipee!! looks like you & me are doing the same theme this year.....a wedding & a funeral!
I was looking thru OTP catalog yesterday to see what little trinkets they had that could be used in an adult package. Found some skeletons, spiders & I like those rats....they have some wooden eyeballs.......did you catch Tallula's post with the pictures of what she put in her adult gift baskets for winners of the costume contest & such.....she had a photo with all the contents showing. Lots of good ideas. If you didn't see it let me know & I'll try to find it for ya!

Last year we did a Mad Scientist theme, and our goodie bags included hypodermic-looking pens with red ink, candy bars with custom wrappers my wife made, body part candy and some other theme related item I can't recall. This year we are doing Sweeney Todd, and we are including small cans of shaving cream and disposable razors, body part candy again, small single serve pecan pies with custom stickers on the lids. Maintaining the theme is important.
