I am confused on what she is? I have seen the bride with her head being held in her hands, animated eyes, etc at Michaels. Shes about $130.00-is this it? Or is she the floating one with the head and hands that float up and down? Either way I want one! TIA for any info

Donna is sort of a dead girl zombie prop. There is a member here who I'm sure will jump in to fill you in better than I....he's our Donna expert
Earlier this summer alot of us got in on a great deal to buy her for only 30 bucks. She is animated and her eyes light up and she moans and wobbles when activated.

I believe you are speaking to me. ;D

Donna the dead is a concept started by Gemmy, a Holiday Decoration Company, that revolves around the design of a traditional Japanese Horror movie ghost. She's usually pictured with long black hair, covering her pale, featureless face- as her eyes seem to glow ominously as she moans and screams.

There were many different DtD things produced last year, some of which you can find this year. Last year they had three different Lifesized props of her. All of which had long, black hair and stood about 5' tall. There was one sold at most stores that wore a white gown. Another that was sold at Michaels last year, that had a tattered gauze dress and held a flashing pumpkin lantern, and another one sold at spirit that had a Black gown, and held a shaking decapitated head and a bloody knife.

There was also a crawling Spider, Floating bride, several versions of the FCG-like ghosts (like the one your speaking of), a treater greeter, a glowing window leecher, screaming mirror...There list is basically endless.

Here's a video of MY Donna the Dead prop:

This year, you won't really find any of the Lifesized Donna's anywhere. But you will find smaller things of her here and there.
    Hope I was informative.

I found a Donna the Dead at Old Time Pottery that was just a head. It kinda rises and falls with a string. It cost 15.00. I am going to build her a body because she is very creepy. She sounds cool. I haven't seen the one with the whole body. Though the head looks just like the one in those videos.

Thanks so much for the info.! I have a head dropper that looks very similar but is just a guy-same stringy black hair and same eyes...called Deadhead Dropper. I think he was from Osco or Rite Aid?
