Bumping this thread to share a wonderful Fall weather/Halloweenish experience from last night.....I was out bike riding at nearly dark, the street lights had come on, and everything was PERFECT for a spooky October evening...the air was brisk and breezy, the sky cloudy--there was the smell of pine trees and burning leaves in the air...blackbirds were on the power lines....and I even had a 'Christine' experience when I drove by one house with an old pickup truck in the yard. The headlights were on, doors were open, and there was some 50's music playing--pretty sure the owner was working on it, but I couldn't see him anywhere...****brrrrrrr****

It made me feel alive, I tell ya....bring on Halloween!!!!!

It finally does here now. Being the 2nd week in October, it has cooled down to the 60s, trees are starting to change

Definitely Autumn here! Nice cool temps and a little splash of color here and there. Supposed to be full blown color in a couple of weeks. I'm leaving for PA tomorrow for a long weekend, so I'm hoping that it's pretty colorful.

We cooled down!!! It's in the 70s. There's a delicious breeze. The sun index is going down just a hair. Leaves are falling everywhere.

Here in S. California it's still hot. Yesterday was 99° and Today will be 96° evening 62°. The evenings have cooled down. Tomorrow looks like the start to Autumn weather 81° and evenings 57°. Trees in my neighborhood have started changing colors & are falling. It gets dark an hour earlier.
Finally.

Last night, a cool autumn night, as I walked to my home after parking my car, I looked up and saw a half moon through a thin haze of cloud. Then I looked down and saw a black cat walk by. Couldn't have arranged it better!

sure does here, it was 39 this morning...brrrrrrr and the trees are lovely shades of blood red and gory guts orange...

Earlier this week the warmest it got was 65 degrees and it cooled down to the mid 40s at night. Now we're back into the high 90s and I had to run the AC again yesterday. The weather is really teasing me!

I'm in northern NJ - leaves are starting to fall, so its starting to feel like autumn now. I like when it gets dark out early, and that chill gets in the air.

Double Edged Sword Alert!!!! : Sucks that it gets dark early, because you cant always see when your putting up decorations. Great when its dark outside because you can see your decorations lit up!
