..has anyone done this before? My daughter and I thought about it the other day while driving to the mall. We passed this spooky old railroad bridge covered with moss and overgrown trees. It sits RIGHT out in front of the mall but I've just never payed it any attention. We giggled at how spooky it looked and how fun it would be to hang a fake corpse beneath it in the darkness of night. Or something to that effect. Maybe something even as simple as a scary pumpkin. Who knows.
Anyway, I know a lot of places around here are mysteriously decorated at Christmas time (forgive me, Halloween Forum, for I have sinned). But randomly out on back roads, or off interstates you'll see trees decorated with garland and tinsel and no one knows who does it. How fun would it be to randomly decorate the public with Halloween cheer? Great fun, that's how!
This year I'm thinking of hanging a few simple, cheap things about my side of town. Last week my daughter bought a pack of street signs because she wanted the "black cat xing" sign for her bedroom door. It came with loads of extras, one being a "Ghoul Crossing"...I'm totally going to hang that on a corner near her school on Halloween morning!

"Where ya going, baby? You going to get the corpses?"
"Yes, Moe...I'm going to get the corpses..."

I know what your saying. But i couldn't help but imagine the 911 calls and investigations after the scare of people seeing a corpse hanging from under a public bridge.
Other than that, great idea ha. Fairy lights pumpkins and signs, be a nice way to promote the season.

OMG, that would be hilarious! I was looking at Target Halloween online ( am too giddy to wait for the stores to be set up) and they have just a head and noose....how great would that be?! Imagine driving past that...
