Hi yall
Did you buy candy yet,, No not for your self ha-ha

I use to buy only mini cadies but would give it out in hand fulls so it ran out fast or cost alot if I bought larrge amounts so I switched to full bars,,

I went to 99C only store & grabbed 5 cases of full hershy bars, mm bags & PB cups =120 total
Thats about how many ToT's I get

I'll grab a mixed bite size bag fo those who dont ware a costume ( all I require is a 99C mask or vampire teeth,, how hard is that?) Dont tell me they cant afford it. I live in East L.A. & as poor as we were I always had somethig..

last year it was 3 for 99C = $39
this yeatr it is 39C each = $46
that $7 is one less happy meal for me
they should change the name of the store...

how much do you spend?
how do you give it out? bags / by hand/ throw it at them from a car ?
do you make special treats for super duper costumes?
do you punish the lazy like I do?

i always give out more to the better costumes, i love the idea though of having seperate things for those without a costume maybe some pennies or something

I have a problem when I buy candy this early, I eat it

I have bought a little bit. I live in an apartment with the front doors to the apartment inside. The only TOTs I'd get would live in the building and I don't think there are many kids so my candy is mostly for my party.
I went to Big Lots and they had the choco eyeballs and body parts for half the price I saw them at the grocery store... so I couldn't pass it up. I got a bag of candy corn too which I can already taste, but I'm resisting opening it for now.

Well, I don't get TOTers but as soon as I see those Fun Size Twizzlers I'm snatching me a bag (or two, or three...). I love, love, love those things! So soft and yummy! Ugh! I've gotta go to the store and check!!!

I don't get many tot's but the ones that do come get alot of candy along with a bunch of other goodies.I always have a party so I give the kids alot also.I bought around 60.00 worth last week at riteaid they were having a 2 for 5.00 sale and it included lots of different kinds including laffytaffy,blowpops and all the reg chocolate bars.I will wait till they run another sale and get more.Last week they had there soda on sale 5 twelve packs for 11.00 so I stocked up for my party.

last year I didn't give out much candy because we were getting married while everyone was finishing up trick or treating(I ended up with a cauldron full of candy left over I had bought), but the year before that we went through the entire large plastic cauldron that we had plus more. I think I'm going to have to do the same thing this year, and on top of it my mom moved in a block away from my house so I will need to get her some candy as well. I'm going to have to hunt for some really good deals for candy.

I do get to decorate two yards this year instead of one though, so that makes it all good.

I bought candy yesterday at Wally World. Usually I make up the little bags with a couple pieces in it. The kids without costumes or are obnoxious get a bag with left over bday party and easter candy.

I'm giving out glow necklaces this year. I want to try to keep the candy out of the house, if I have the willpower.
