Thread: Let's talk Halloween Candy!

So I bought my first bag of Halloween Candy today....well, i bought some candy corn the other week so maybe my second bag. Anway, it was the fun size Hershey's with Almonds. Now the reason I am so excited about this is that they only have the fun size with almonds during Halloween...the are so good because they have chopped almonds in them. The rest of the year they just have the plain fun sized. I keep them in the fridge....yummy. So what is everyone elses favorite Halloween Candy? Things like Reeses, Kit Kat, Snickers,Mini M&M bags, Skittles and Starburst just seem to taste better around Halloween.

I always have to have the funsize Butterfingers and sugar daddies (sp?). For some reason I associate those with Halloween. Oh, and Bottle caps and Sweet Tarts. And I almost forgot, Reeses Pieces...so yummy!

My girls are only 19 months and won't be able to eat all the candy they get. Is it wrong that I am looking forward to raiding their stash???

I love Reese's cups and 100 grand. The tots seem to really like Nerds. I save the stuff I like until the end of the night, so if there is any leftover, it's stuff I like.

We usually get several bags of chocolate (butterfinger/reeses/snickers) fun size, and mix it with the Willy Wonka mixes (nerds/bottlecaps/etc) and some starburst thrown in.

I do tend to pick out the reeses cups and the snickers to hoard.

I usually get the mini chocolate bars, small bags of chips and other small things thrown in (lollipops, gummies....all kinds of stuff).

What do I love? ALL OF THEM!!!

I eat candy all year long (my sweet tooth has a mind of it's own and it gets veeeeeery angry if I don't appease it! ) so I really look forward to the seasonal candy. I've already bought two bags of the Candy Corn Kisses....they are awesome! I also like the Halloween Nerds. I only buy the candy that comes in special Halloween packaging this time of year. It just doesn't seem festive to give out candy wrapped in it's normal clothes!

Being an old-fashioned kinda gal, I love black licorice and Mary Janes.

Do they still make Mary Janes? I can't find them anywhere. For me it's Reese's and those flavored Toostie Roll mini's...you know the blue, green, red, yellow ones...I love those. I can only find those around Halloween too...

This is true....I love the Halloween candy in its special wrappings....especially the Kit Kats that have the orange crispy bar! Today I picked up some Rain-Blo bubble gum balls...instead of the usual rainbow colors/flavors they had black, orange and eye ball colored gumballs. YUMMY!!! I also like the Hershey's Miniature Mix in the fall wrappers, and the glow-in-the dark snickers bars. I just love Halloween candy!

MMMM, I love Mary Janes.

So far this year I have only bought the bag that has the jujyfruit-raspberry dollar-grape-wild cherry thingys. I love that mix. You can get th jujy fruit all year but not the other.
