We have never had a Spirit Store where I live; I've always had to drive 2 or 3 hours to shop. And gas prices being what they are ... well you know I wasn't going to do that this year. Well yesterday I was out running errands and passed a strip mall with a big sign that "Spirit Store Opening Soon". I freaked!!!!!

I jumped out of my car, ran up to the window and was drooling on myself as I surveyed the props through the window. My husband was laughing so hard.

It opens TOMORROW!!!

Even better, I called this morning and the manager said he will be hiring new help next week and said to come by today and pick up an application. I would pay THEM to let me work there! lol!

That's awesome! If you work there, you get some sort of discount...I think 25%off merchandise...

That is awesome!! I would love to work there! I worked at a Party City one year for Halloween and it was awesome! Pulling costumes, getting outacccesories, decorations, etc....I felt like you....I wanted to PAY them to let ME work there!! I hope you get a job there!

Just bite me...lol. @ years ago we had two of them. Last year they said there would be two and then said they couldnt find any locations. And it looks like we are getting hosed again this year.

Congratulations on the news "Spirit of Halloween" in your area. Definately keep your eye out for coupons. If you have not already signed up with their site, I suggest that you do so. If they do what is right this year, they will be sending out coupons.

Great to see you posting again, SoutherBelle !! Did you decide not to sell all of your Halloween props? I hope you kept them all.
That's great about the $pirit $tore. If you get hired tell them you want profit sharing as your salary. You'd probably make $1000 a week. LOL

Spirit stores would be lucky to have any of us as employees! We are all so enthusiastic about Halloween, we would be selling their stuff like crazy! We are the type of sales people companies long for...we are knowledgeable and passionate about the product! Much better than a disinterested person just trying to make a buck. I hope you get a job there, that would be great!

I don't know where Spirit stores are around here no where close, spenser's gets halloween in, We do get Halloween USA though,

The sign is up, but no information on the door at my store. I'm so excited, the store is just a couple of miles from my house.
