Here are our plans attatched.
you enter from our small garage door and go right, a bright light is shining in your eyes to make the first room appear darker.
Silence of the Lambs-you step into the next room and cant see anything, a motion sensor will activate and a spotlight will shine down on an actor dressed like Hannibal, it looks like he is contained with a straight-jacket but he jumps out for the scare.
Psycho-Next you walk into a room that appears to be a bathroom there is a fog machine making a "steam" effect and behind a shower curtain, in a fake bathtub is a bloody actor who pops out with a fake axe for the scare.
Saw-Next is the most elaborate room. a video of Jigsaw saying he wants to play a game is playing when you walk in. you turn around the corner to see an actor dressed as jigsaw on a tricicle riding around. you also see another actor in a "death contraption" and two corpsified skeletons handcuffed by their legs to a piece of PVC. Lots of tools are scattered around of course including a saw....Im not sure what we will do with the attic yet but well find something.
The Excorcist-You then walk into a room set up as a bed room with our Donna the Dead acting as a possesed Regan on a fake bed. Next to the bed there is a nightstand with a lamp, bible, ect. and there are other decorations throughout the room.
Halloween-you walk in and there is draped cloth, fake candles and some hanging bodies to distract you while an actor dressed as Michael Meyers comes out from a small, hidden space in the wall behind you for the scare.
Jason, Freddy, Leatherface-next you walk into a hallway which dislpays our gemmy lifesize Freddy and Jason and an actor dressed up as Leatherface. Leatherface apperars to be animatronic but pops our with a real chainsaw for the scare.
Childs Play-Finnaly the most simple but what i think will be the most effective scare involves our Chucky Doll. at the very end of the Haunted House Chucky will be rigged up so he is hanging by his feet and his head is hanging by a pulley controlled by a person. Right when the guests are about to exit the person releases the rope holding Chucky's upper body up so he swings down and stares right at the victims with his knife. He is then pulled back up and the guests finish.
Now that ive finished writing that,(thank god) i can actually start working on it!Yay!

Hey maybe you guys posting everything like this in one thread will help those of us that are not so organized to get it together. I like this where everything is in one place so if you see something then you know where to go find it instead of searching pages of threads where projects & pictures are spread out all over.
Also its nice to read what your theme is & have an idea of what you are doing and then follow along. Great idea you have here & I'll be excited to watch you pull it all together!

Saw-Venus fly trap –
08-27-2008,02:55 PM
dont laugh because this is the first prop ive ever made. Im making the Venus fly trap from Saw.
first i took the insides from a few old hard-hats and i strapped them together. next i took an old felt cowboy hat and cut it up to make a face shaped bowl. i cut eye and mouth holes in it and taped it onto the plastic frame.
the first link is the picture of the actual movie's trap and the ones after that are my progress. ill keep updating as i work on it

My, My Conman you are a very busy bee! My head is spinning from all the energy that is coming off this thread ! Whew! I am like Muffy tho....putting it all on one thread makes it easy for us to refer to and gives you a great bulletin board to be organzied!
It looks like your going to have one Hellva haunt. Love what your doing with the Saw trap!
Hate it when I get started on a project that I am excited about and then have to leave it to go do something I have to do.... Sorry....but we will be here waiting !Today the Pond. Tomorrow The World!
All this has Happened Before and will Happen Again
