Don't know if anyone had started this thread yet, but just wanted to say I saw my first sighting today. Better Homes & Gardens has their H-ween issue out. Bought it, but haven't looked at it yet. I'm savoring the moment!!

I can't wait for the Make magazine Halloween edition. It was awesome last year. I also need to get Martha Stewart's magazine too. Last year I almost waited too long. I searched several stores before I found a copy. I'll have to check out the Better Homes and Gardens too!

I thought it was amazing, BUT... I thought it was a one-off. I know last year they had solicits up on their site for Halloween submissions, and you could pre-order the issue in (I think) July. I haven't seen any signs of a Halloween special this year.
We always pick up the Martha Halloween issues as well, but it's been a while since she's really wowed us.

Is the Homes & Gardens ones like Life Style where it's blue on the cover? Because both at walmart and michaels they have a halloween edition but I only saw Life Style logo on it.
From what people tell me, Martha doesn't really change her's much. So it's almost pointless to get hers. But I don't know because I'v never gotten hers.halloween is a super cool holiday.

I just got back from my local walmart and picked up an all you halloween edition magazine and the small size taste of home magazine with was also a halloween edition. I didn't see any other halloween editions for magazines there other than an additional large size taste of home magazine (I'll get it later this week probably. I looked at the Martha Stewart magazines and here they don't have it out yet. Though I'm thinking it should be soon. BTW here is Clarksville TN about an hour north of Nashville.

Just got back from going hunting for the Better Homes and Gardens Halloween issue.... but all I could find was the new "September 2008" issue. It's got a red-leaved tree on the front. but it didn't look "Halloween-ish" at all. It said something about "fall ideas" on the cover.
Is this the one ya'll are talking about?
