I like a mix of everything while I am in stores and decorating. I love the light spirited party mix, but I also like the dark and enchanting music as well.

I think you may be right about that, MAG.

I'm not into the "cutesy" Monster Mash-type music, and the stuff that is suppose to be creepy is usually cheap sounding and littered with fake sound effects that don't match any one theme. This music sounds professionally produced and the only sound effect I heard in that clip was a church bell (which I need for my chapel theme). Thanks for the 411 guys.

I was just introduced to Midnight Syndicate a few days back. I love it!!!

I think this music is great for decorating, I agree that it really sets the mood. Just listening to that gets me in the mood for next year. We are expanding this year but next season will be the big focus for me to go overboard, my family from Chicago is finally planning a trip down here to spend halloween at my house.......I think that is why I keep talking about 2009!!! sorry guys!!lol

If I go into a store such as Spirit of Halloween or any store that is dedicated to strickly Halloween then I like to hear songs from movies. If I go into stores like Target or even Party City than songs such as Monster Mash are the best to be playing.

Once it hits October, every store should be playing some sort of Halloween music.
