I have always wanted to do a Haunted House and made my first attempt last year. It had to be kid friendly and I wanted it to be something that the kids would say that was the best Halloween party ever. Where I live kids dont get to wear costumes to school and they dont really have much of a halloween party anymore and I just wanted to try to have something sort of like when I was a kid when halloween was fun. It was a success as the next day at school I was " The coolest mom ever" I hope that when the kids get to be my age they will remember that moment just a little bit and who knows maybe I have inspired someone to be a Halloween nut like me in the future. Me and my kids had so much fun turning the garage into "Spooky Hollow". It was a sad day when it all had to come down.

The buffet set up so the kids could feel what was on the menu. I had to use flash to get pictures so it doesnt look nearly as cool as it was. We had a bat flying around on the ceiling at the room glowed red.

one of the witches she doesnt look too scary with the flash but with the sound effects and lighting we had she was a bit creepy

That is just friggen sweet! Love the effect with the blue light and the cats green eyes! I'm so excited to see this years!

We also had a pirate room, skeleton dance room, ghosts and the whispering willow cemetary. Didnt want to get too carried away with the pics...

Aww kitty! It looks fantastic, great job! What a treat for the kids in your neighborhood, I wish someone had done something like this in mine.

What a great party!!! My favorite picture is of your kitty with the stomach ache after a eating a plate full of spiders! I love when my kitties pose like that.
I know what you mean when you say that the flash kills the setting that was actually there because I get a lot of that when taking pics of my guests.
