I was just over at my Michael's and they had the Gothic metal garden arches for 90% which made them $3.49. I didn't have my phone with me to take a picture, but they are dark green 55" wide and 11' tall. Thy would make a great cemetery entrance or walkway cover.

Also lots of tiki torches for $1.25

Hmmm...wonder if I have any use for one of these? At $3.49 I almost hate to pass one up...you never know, I may have a project next year that calls for one!

No, it did say said "Gothic" on the box. The top of the arch comes up to a point with finials on the top. I purchased something similar at Target last season. I will try to get up there to take a pic. They had a lot, probably why they were down to $3.49.

I don't get it. How big are they? I guess I'll have to go to michaels tomarrow. What area of the store were they in? (halloween, ect.)

    Thanks!

Michaels stores are all in charge of their own clearance.

I had one selling torches for $1 another still had them for $5 here. Within 10 miles of each other.

Here is the only arch my Michael's carries. Is it anything like the Gothic arch at yours?

I stopped off at Machaels at lunch today and saw these for 80% off. At $6.99 each, how can you go wrong. I bought two. I have an idea for them, but not sure if they'll be used this year or not. I just can't pass up on an item that may likely have a use and is practically free. I just wish the top didn't come to such a high point. I'll figure something out though. Thanks for the tip!

2 years ago I bought the Halloween arch at Target on 75% clearance. Last year I put it up over our walkway and tied in the Gemmy interacting skulls, one on each side with the wire running overhead. It worked great - the skulls SHOCKED our party guests, then entertained them with the dialog.
The top of that arch pictured above seems to go up much higher - not sure if the wire between the 2 skulls would reach...for the price, and look that can easily be dressed for Halloween, i'd say go for it as well!

Not intending to kidnap the thread, but here's some pics of the arch with skulls in place...
