I see that the local Spirit store is soon to open (1st week of Sept.) I would like to gather other's opinions on the Spirit stores? I am a fan of these stores and frequent them during the Halloween season. The past few years I have found coupons for things such as 20% off one decoration/prop or %10 off any purchase. I have yet to find any coupons this year, has anyone found any?

I spend enough money at this store each year, they should send me coupons like this all the time...ha ha ha

still a bit early...i know i am just as impatient and spend way too much as well...at least u are lucky that your spirit store is local...i have to drive almost 2 hrs to get to one in Washington because those guys

1) do not have any stores in Canada

2) do not ship out here

Where abouts in Canada are you? Last year they have a Spirit store near the Niagara Falls Outlet Mall just across the border.... In case you are close to there...

I'm curious also! We just got one finally close to me and would love to know the comparison to Halloween Express (which always has decent stuff but is very pricey).

last year i had three spirit halloween stores to choose from and about 10 other halloween shops that opened all within about a 10 mile radius!
I just checked their site and again there will be 3 that are under 10 miles away and 1 in huntington which is 18 miles away.

Sign up for their emails and coupons will come. I believe I got a 10% off coupon already, and they get better later.

Everyone seems to say Spirit is overpriced... but it's still an awesome store. I literally stop in at least once or twice a week when they are open. It's an obsession, hoping they got something in that I hadn't seen.

Our Spirit store opened today...They had a few cool props I'm thinking about purchasing...couldn't stay to long...since my son was with me...and he was wanting to leave.....Ugh!

They put a store close by to me last year but sadly, that must have been a one time deal. The stores are normally too far out for me to waste the gas for the stuff they sell.

i'm an assistant manager at Spirit Halloween in Bolingbrook, IL, from what I was told coupons won;t be in the mail until early-mid Sept. but if you are on the mailing list, a coupon should be in your email within the next week or 2

Spirit and Halloween Express both are crazy expensive!
