We need some cheap ground-stake floodlights to put outside, we'll worry about dimming the light as need be once we get them....

BUT... we can't find the durn things anywhere! We bought one cheap green outside floodlight holder at Big Lots last year, but they don't have them this year. We've checked at Lowe's with no luck. We don't have any of the other hardware stores around here. We looked at Walmart & some of the 'dollar' type stores we have....

Just plain ol' simple cheapie ground stake flood light holders!!! You wouldn't think it would be too hard to find them, but we're having a time of it!

Does anyone know of an online source to get these cheaply? We really don't want to spend $20,$ 40+ for each light fixture, which is the type of lights I keep coming up with when I search online..... I've seen people mention cheap $5 Malibu landscaping lights at Walmert, no sign of anything like that at our stores

Or just *any* kind of cheap light that would work outside.... we're not trying to do anything fancy just yet, we simply need some overall lighting without spending a forture If we could highlight a few special items, that would be great - but at this point, just finding a few generic ground floodlights for overall lighting would make us happy.

Any help or ideas would be *greatly* appreciated! We're only starting to get into making our own props & stuff, most of our items are store-bought, so we're newbies to this whole thing - I'd have thought getting a few plain cheap floodlights would be the least of our worries, and it's turning out to be a major headache... *THANK YOU* in advance for any help!

We've gotten them at Wal-mart in the past - the only time of year and only reason I'll go in there. Look in the Christmas section, which they are probably already putting up. Home Depot finally started selling them as well - we've found them in the Christmas section there as well.

I've gotten them at Lowes. They don't seen to stock them all the time. I've never seen them at Wally mart or Home depot.

Be patient....if you don't need them right this minute, just shift them to the end of your list. More xmas will be coming out, long before Halloween. You'll be able to find them in xmas in Big Lots, Walmart, and several others before Halloween. Thats how I got most of mine.

I agree. First year I only got 2 and went crazy trying to find the, ended up that I did not get any more. During the year I saw them on and off and picked them up so last year I was set

Thanks so much for all the help! Maybe we are being a bit impatient - I guess I'll give it another couple weeks to see if anyone gets any of them w/ their Christmas items - but I'm glad to find a place where I can get them online if I need to - thanks for the link! After seeing that one, I googled "floodlight with spike" and found a few other shops that had that same one also. I don't know why none of my previous searches ever turned up one... anyway, **thank you**!!!!!!!

I bought mine from Home Depot by all the light bulbs had no trouble finding them. If anything call the stores in advance and ask them what type of flood lights they have.

    Purely and simply evil
