I am planning a Halloween party again this year for a local Volunteer Fire Dept. It is a family party and I am having a hard time coming up with a clever theme and invite. Last year I used the Toe tag invite, it was cool and everyone liked it. Any suggestions for this year that does not cost a bunch because there are 50 members I have to make these up for. Also a theme that is Ok for the kids too. Last year I had a scavenger hunt that went bust because the dept had 3 runs and people had to leave. Any game suggestions? I have the food somewhat thought out but I am going to add to it to go with whatever theme I can come up with. Thanks to anyone that can help me... This has to be a drink free, kid friendly party. Will they be mailed, or handed out? Smallish "death" certificates. I think I saw somewhere on this board, severed fingers with a string around it "don't forget" on the invite (I like that one). Paper tombstones if you have to mail.
So come up to the lab and see what's on the slab.

These can be handed out or put in the fire fighters mailboxes at the station. This will help me a lot to save on postage costs! The death cert. ideal would be interesting...

I had a scroll of paper inside with the details, then it was wrapped up with ribbon.
