Default What's Your Goal?

Figured it'd be interesting to find out if & what folks' goals for this Halloween is/are (besides scaring the begeezus outta everyone!) Getting a certain number of TOTs, getting a great prop done, just spreading Halloween joy, etc.

I'm shooting to break 50 TOTs. Joked with Mr. We'en that I was going to rent one of those spotlights they use at car dealerships to attract attention far & wide. Needless to say, I may be in one of our graves if I do it...

My goal for this year is to NOT be running around like a chicken with my head cut off come party time! I'd like to be organized enough this year to be able to actually enjoy the first few hours of my party. I'd also like to have more guests show up this year.

That's my goal too! Last year everyone showed up on time and I was caught way off guard and was running around for the first couple hours. Would like to have more guests this year too. Our other goal is a new one. We want to try to make our friend Sarah pee her pants. Then we know we had really good props! So it will be our goal every year to make Sarah pee her pants. She gets scared fairly easily and is quite dramatic, so she's our barometer of how others might respond.

I just want to have fun... my favourite part is just seeing the looks on kids' faces.

Though, it'd also be nice to finish all my props in time for the big day!

I've mentioned this before - to let ToTers have as much fun on Halloween night as I remember it being (or imagine it was) when I was young.

I'd love to break 200 TOTs.

My main goal is to have a great time and help the kiddos understand how much fun Halloween can be.

I'd also love to get our graveyard up past the "beginner" level. I think maybe third year is the charm.

My big plan this year is to complete a crypt and FCG and at least a couple of tombstones to replace the store-bought ones.

my goal is to make an amazing joker costume,
go to a close by large city and spend all day in costume,
talk to people,
maybe pose for a few pictures,
hand out candy to as many people as i can,
and hopefully do such a good performance that people will hesitate (or just refuse) to take the candy from me.

that may be an unrealistic expectation but i feel like dreaming big this year.

My goal this year is to kick back with a Pumkin Ale in one hand and a carmel apple in the other, plop down in the recliner to watch AMC's Monsterfest... And of course wait on the doorbell to ring!!! I'm taking off for Halloween and will need a well deserved break by then!

My goal is to get the Victorian bedroom done I started so long ago!
I am decorating sort of like the serial-killer's apartments are done in the movies with odd furniture and objects but the tennant for this room will be a very famous and historical killer. It will be interesting if anyone figures out whose apartment it is?
Even though it is "Victorian", there will also be some parts of the place that will look like ancient Egypt, which some will think looks totally out of place or stupid but there was the "Egyptian Revival" style of furniture and architecture popular around 1820 and since my tennant is a world traveler and bows to no one else's tastes just his own.......hey, he likes it!
This will be the only room in my 1870 Italianate house that plays to it's original styling...sort of...
I should also mention he doesnot live there alone. He met a famous female along the way and she is prominently displayed there too. (Hint. They are an unlikely couple but then her husband died sooo long ago!)
