Thread: House already putting out decorations!

I went to C'ville yesterday and there is a house that always decorates for EVERY holiday. When we went by they were already putting out their fall and Halloween decorations. I thought it was sooo cool.

I passed a house yesterday that had Christmas lights up...it made me sad...but it might be one of those houses that have their Christmas lights up all year long, so you never can tell.

But that's awesome that someone is already in the Halloween spirit!! I wish more people around here were.

Please do tell. Where is this "C-ville"? I want to move next door to that house!

I've been seriously debating about when to start putting out the decorations. I was thinking of putting out the fall leaves on my front porch's posts...thereby easing everyone very gently into the fall/Halloween spirit. That way they won't be too shocked when the tombstones come out early!

I'm already putting up Halloween decorations inside my house.. My DH gives me a few odd looks, but he knows I'm a Halloween nut!!

I have my witches shack on the side of my house. I have all my halloween boxes on the front porch, yet nothing has came out yet.

I have started putting up more spooky decorations in my house as well, but it's just because I'm finally uppacking them (after nearly a year).

I wouldn't say I'm necessarily decorating for Halloween, hah hah.

I put these large spiders up in the corners of some of the rooms yesterday and the horror movie posters might go up tonight (not sure).

Hey sometimes when we think other people think we are crazy with our halloween jibber jabber way before October .........maybe we should think twice. When I needed to find a kid to put in my Scary Scene entry, me & Jer just got in the truck & went over on the other block here. I knew a woman who came with her kids at halloween lived over there. When we pulled up in the driveway they had no idea who we were, they were out in the yard pickin tomatoes.

I told them I'm the halloween lady ....that response brought huge smiles to their face & I told them of my dilemma and they loaned me their kid. They were really excited when they walked into our scene in the garage so sometimes we may JUST THINK people think we are crazy.
They got excited to see what is in the works for Halloween. Heck I'm excited!!lol
