Thank You for all the nice comments here. Ya know I love doing this so much & just yesterday we all had a talk at the beauty shop & I told them,,,,,,,,its so gratifying to see people come & enjoy themselves so much with such a little haunt.

Some things mentioned by you guys: That is usually a big problem, we have a lot to look at so people said they just wish they would have more time in each room cause we move them thru pretty fast because of the line coming in. There is a lot in the rooms that move or play music or talk but because we don't have enough help people never see that stuff actually work.

As far as parents being told about the inside of the house ....that was our biggest shock last year guys. We had more adults than kids come thru here.......thats why I made the candy coffins, those are for the adults this year cause we had so many adults ....I want to give them something this year. Plus when I bake the adults stand in the kitchen & eat which was a problem in 2006 cause they held the line up.

People have questions on Halloween night & they want to visit which was another problem....between handing out treats & popcorn, taking everybodies picture......its next to impossible to really visit with anyone.

As I mentioned before, this year by far will be the most we have taken on, this funeral parlor with the bridal party & the plan of making a gothic wedding cake & handing that & punch out to everyone is gonna be rough. Man when they come here they want to eat. Nobody is afraid of eating here. I use to bake wedding cakes so I have all the stuff for that but I might be a tad bit rusty as I have not baked a cake like that since we sold the diner. Last season due to health issues in this house I did not bake anything or wear a costume & people were so disappointed.

I am happy for the contest we just had, it is wonderful going in my garage & having a lot of that project in there completed, we have more to do & will be adding another room there to be the gypsy fortune tellers tent. We also have a lot of fake food to finish. Those projects are all getting posted in my web site in" 2007-2008 projects" under "Misc. Projects".

SO we are plugging along like all of you.....time is flying my Fellow Haunters!!lol
