Exhausted from a 26 hour trip from Ca to Boeblingen, Germany (work), after checking in at the hotel, I parked the rental car in the underground parking lot, then walked inside and hit the elevator button. Pretty slow on the uptake by this time, I spun around to take in what had appeared (out of the corner of my eye) to be an elaborate August Halloween display in a large glass display case in the elevator loby here in Germany.
As my time-zoned-out wits began to focus, I looked at the center of all the little witches and cauldrons and other stuff, to see a poster promoting the play "Wicked.' Duh.![]()

ooooooooooooooooh daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. I SO wish I could see that. It would be nice if they'd sell the foreign merchandise online especially the programs but they don't. A friend of mine copied the German CD for me and the cast is AWESOME. And Wicked can be very Halloween. There's witches and magic and it opened on October 30th. *sigh* me loves Wicked. *points to avatar*

Did you see it at the Pantages? soooooo jealous. I'd have loved to see the cast there. I'm such a Wicked geek.

I bought my wife tickets to Wicked for Christmas. She took her sister. I'm not crazy about musicals, so I didn't protest. She's nuts about the Wizzard of Oz but didn't rave about Wicked.

I eat, sleep, breathe Wizard of Oz and I adore Wicked to no end. I can't stand musicals, except for a select few. Wicked fits more into pop than what I think would be typical musical fare. I'm hoping I get to see the show again next year when the tour comes back to town. OEJ adores Wicked to no end. He gets sick of all the other Oz I put him through on a daily basis sometimes, but not Wicked.

I would LOVE to see it in Germany. The Elphaba there is incredible! One of the best I've heard. Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing all of the foreign productions.

Okay you guys made me do it.......Defying Gravity on German TV. YouTube - Wicked Germany - Frei und Schwerelos (sing-mit)
Best Wicked trailer ever......You see the German cast but it's been dubbed with the American (Idina Menzel) Defying Gravity
