I posted this in the “Haunts, Gatherings, and Conventions” section but got no response so I thought I’d repost in a more high traffic section of the forum.

I'd love to organize a Make & Take for our area but didn't know how many people would be within a reasonable distance. I did a search for Kentucky and see that there are at least 14 active members who can be to Lexington in less than 2 hours. I have a place to hold one but would prefer if someone else would run the prop building section.

Oh and for those that don’t know what exactly is involved in a Make & Take, it normally includes a prop build, a show and tell, food, and some have a prop swap. They’ve done these in Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New England that I know of and everyone seems to have a blast.

Would anyone be interested in attending a Make & Take in Lexington and would anyone have a project that they’d want to instruct the others in making?

Hi Rikki. I would love to attend something like this. Unfortunately I'm in the process of building my second only ever prop, and not so sure anyone would want to swap anything with me! teehe But.. if my prop turns out super cool by accident, I will give it some serious thought No seriously, if you get something like this going I will try to make it.

Awesome! The "prop swap" would be optional (I don't think I have anything I'd be willing to give up...even if it was for some other cool prop!) and you definitely don't have to be a master builder to attend (I most certainly am not!!).
