I recall these colored plastic studs that you could push into the rind of a cleaned pumpkin, and with a lit candle inside the pumpkin glittered. These studs looked like colored glass or gems or jewels, and I keep thinking I saw them offered by a pumpkin decorating company.

Maybe it was Martha Stewart, I don't know.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I have drilled holes in a cleaned pumpkin and then put those colored flattened glass rounds in the holes. It give you the same effect, but I haven't ever seen any commercially made ones.

I have seen them too. They are kind of like the ones for a Light Bright toy. Not sure where they were being sold as that was last year or the year before.
I don't mean to alarm you but your insides look very Halloweeny.

I do that too - we get the red ones and use them as pupils in the eye holes - it looks really good.
