I always didn't care for the way they looked either, because the walls of the pumpkin are so thin, but once you light them at night they look great.

I carved one fake pumpkin and never went back to carving real ones. It's cool because I can keep them year after year and now grow a jack o'lantern collection.

Thanks again guys! I've been doing the fake jacks for four years and now have 10 pumpkins to store. I'll be adding probably two more before the season's out.

Spooki, last year I used glow sticks but this year I'll be using the colored pumpkin lights (and a pumpkin strobe for the Halloween one). I bought a bunch of them in Spirit's 75% off sale last year.

Yep, they're out. I've seen them at Michael's, Hobby Lobby, and Garden Ridge.
