Good idea about the coupons. I don't know why I always forget about those!

I will totally have to run by and get a fake pumpkin from there!

I super need that hot knife too. When I carved one of the fake pumpkins last year I got that saw dust stuff everywhere!

Hot knife sounds cool!

Walmart doesn't carry the pumpkins but I know that Garden Ridge, Jo-Ann's, A.C. Moore, and Menards do.

Jo-Ann's and A.C. Moore also carry the hot knife. I just did a search for Creative Versa-Tool and saw that K-mart has it, so it'd be worth a look in Walmart's craft department. You can buy it from a ton of online dealers. Amazon has it for $20 and I also saw a link to one on eBay.

News Flash!! beep beep beep beep

I was just at Michaels and the one here is dumping out the rest of their Halloween stuff now (and some Christmas) but the pumpkins are now out and at 30% off.

Poof went another 40% off coupon though. Gotta love those things.

Rikki, awesome job!!!

Can you use any fake pumpkin? What does it have to be made out of to carve it like that?

These are lovely! I have to show Brian this thread, he doesn't care for the fake pumpkins. I think this should change his mind quick.

Thanks!

The Lock, Shock, and Barrell pattern came from Zombie Pumpkins and the Halloween pattern came from JP's Jammin' Pumpkins. I got memberships at both places last year since they both have awesome designs.

Firedancer, I'm not sure what all kinds of fake pumpkins you can carve. These are called craft pumpkins, made specifically for carving/cutting into.
