I have some large storage sheds in the backyard for all of our halloween walls and props. Somehow, a wild cat got in there... we went out friday and set a live animal trap, caught the cat, and gave it to the ARL. Last night we went out again, and lo and behold, there were four kittens staring up at us. We brought them all in and gave them food and water, and before long, they warmed up to us and are now VERY friendly! We're planning on keeping them, but need some names. Since they were born in the haunted house shed, i figured it's only appropriate to gave them halloween names. So far we've thought of Boo, Morticia, Fester, Samara, and Elvira. Trying to come up with as many as possible so we have many to choose from. We don't yet know the sex of the cats, so we can't decide quite yet Anyone have ideas on names?

Man, don't mean to be a downer, but I can't help and think about the distress that mother wild cat is in right now.

As for names, lots of great ones already suggested.

You might look into reuniting the mother cat first. The babies might not be old enough yet.

We had a mother cat drop off a 2 week old kitten in our yard last year at the end of August and never came back for it. That little gray blue eyed kitten, grew up to be all black with orange eyes, so we think of him as our Halloween cat.
We ended up naming him Dante, but my husband always liked the name "Vlad".

Unfortunatly if the cat was really feral, she was probably not adoptable...if you know what I mean.
Caring for young kittens can be done. We had to give our kitten "kitty formula" for 6 weeks. It could be expensive with 4 of them.
