I hear a lot of people getting their props stolen etc and i hear everything from stay up and wait for them to disguising your self as a prop and jump out at the perps or booby traps that are not legal. Well what about tie some fishing line to bells and empty cans its nothing fancy or anything but i dunno how the perps mind works but if one was outside at night stealing items and heard a bunch of bells and cans clicking together id bet they would run. Just a thought might work might not if anything it might wake you up yto chase them off...

Question on that issue, if you just want to scare them away it might work, but if you're wanting to be alarmed that someone is in your property...would you be able to hear the cans?

Perhaps getting a motion activated light and turn it on at the end of the night. I have ammotion sensitive light I have wired through the house and it turns on a bedside table lamp when it goes off...that way I'm aware that something is going on.

maybe wire a fishing line and light together... just throwing some ideas around.

I never bring anything of mine in at night though...but nothing has been taken from me either (knock on wood)
