I didn't do any last year--too much to do just finishing the fence. But I might do some again this year. Lots of fun, and it's always been popular at parties (well, for those who didn't think it was devil worship, anyway.)

No but my witch will be telling unfortunes, rolling some bones, reading runes gazing into a crystal ball and tarot readings. And she'll do it all for one price...........YOUR SOUL! LOL

Ah...a woman after my own heart. Or soul, rather.

I've read tarot cards for over 15 years, and pulled them out on the spur of the moment at our party last year.
I STILL have people come up to me and tell me what "came true" from their readings.
(I always tell them that this is purely for fun, I can't predict the future or tell them that this is definitely happening/not happening, only that they indicate possibilities, and to throw out anything that doesn't make sense to them - really matter of fact)
I'm definitely doing them again this year - I think I'd piss off people that didn't realize last year and missed out!
I'm even leaning towards being a gypsy this year.

I organized an event a few years ago (Renaissance-themed) and we had a "fortune teller." She was all decked out in the wildest gypsy fashion, and very seriously cracked open a fortune cookie and read it out loud. (My suggestion, because we didn't know how the people would react (charity venue).) People got a big kick out of it. I don't think she had any cards with her, but once she realized it was "safe," she offered to read runes for people, and several took her up on it.

I have Halloween themed tarot cards for sale in my e-bay store. I'm planning to put them on clearance soon, if anyone is interested.

I don't do tarot readings, but would LOVE to have one of you do a reading for me!! Spookyboo did a reading for me last year (my first) that was scarily accurate, even though it was for entertainment purposes only--tripped me OUT!

One year for a fund raiser, we got a local stand up comedian and came up with a deck of our OWN tarot cards...based on MAD magazine pics, cartoons, WHAT HAVE YOU...
huge hit...got some inside info on the folks who would come to the party and it was cool making fun of the whole fortune telling schtick itself..as a result he would toss rubber boots old broccoli, or announce things like "Professor Plumb, in the observatory, with the knife" in the middle of a reading...

Oh thanks Dalloween, I just bought a pack on Amazon and they raped me on the shipping price. Seven bucks to ship, I thought they were coming with an armed guard. LOL They were only 9.99 plus 7.00 for ship.
