WOW frogqueen, that's quite a compliment. Thank you.
I REALLY appreciate all of your responses, guys. It is definitely a go. I had planed a funeral scene in the garage, but that will have to wait until next year due to my being chronically un-rich at the moment. So I'll be turning the garage into a crypt with an FCG inside. The graveyard will resemble JohnnyL's at .: The Official Love Manor Website! :.. That is one of favorite shots of his graveyard below. Wish me luck, guys.....and thanks again

Rookie good for you on doing your origional plan. Are you planning on doing anything gore related. I dont see it in the sketch and I think if you do the plans exactly like the sketch I think that would be just fine.
Linus: You've heard about fury and a woman scorned?
Charlie Brown: Yes, I guess I have.
Linus: Well that is nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of tricks or treats!

Rookie:
GO FOR IT, MAN!!! I totally agree that no matter what we do or how "tasteful" it is, SOMEONE will be offended. Life's too short, do what makes you happy.
And frogqueen is exactly right: you are a man of conscience and good taste.
Rock on!!!

Rook... can't believe I missed this thread. All I can say is just do it. If someone has a complaint, you're at least getting some attention. Ever heard of a little thing called the First Amendment. Your right to put whatever you want in YOUR front yard, with the crosses and all.
You're not out to offend, but entertain. Entertain away. Why rule the living when you can control the dead.

If we end up with a house that has some land, I want to put up something like this, year 'round:

And put up a cemetery at Halloween. (This is the wedding chapel in Hell, MI. I want a smaller version.)
Anyway, it sounds like your plan is a go. Sorry I can't see the sketch at work. To add my take on it: personally, I love the idea. Love it.

I say do what you want. Our country is out of control with all of this crap. We have a few people controlling everyone else. Some times the squeaky wheel just needs to be taken out back and disposed of...or maybe just replaced (defiantly no attention). I was raised in a Christian church but have mostly left that behind me. Some of the most mean controlling people in my life I met in church. I find it ridiculous that people feel they have the right to even question what you do on your own property. (but then again I am against most laws, I vote no on everything across the board) I am against the church people who force feed their views down your throat, I am also against the wiener who sued to get the ten commandments thrown out of the court house. The way I see it we either act out of fear (control) or love, (especially not fear disguised as love) if this was already covered I apologize.
sorry this is prolly the wrong place for this but it kinda got me going. Your sketch rocks!
btw-any publicity is good publicityThis day anything goes
