I would like to do a gold miners cave or area what are some of the things I need besides the gold and goldminers. I will probably have chainsaw miner or lumberjack at the end of this one.

Not sure if your doing pnuematics but if so you could have a wooden beam made of foam over head that looks like it is breaking in half just as they are walking under it....Have a "trash can trauma" coming out of a wooden barrel....Maybe put a smoke machine inside a wooden crate marked T-N-T....Coffin sitter inside a coal cart...Have a hole with "Help" and "I'm Stuck" yelling out of it....Couple of ideas off the top of my head.....Sounds cool!.....ZR

Pick, shovel, gold pans, helmets, lanterns/flashlights, bats, track with a mining car, powder kegs, pvc to look like sticks of dynamite. If this will be outside, have dirt underfoot instead of grass or concrete. Depending on the size of the cave, you can go for the "cool" mine, put a small fan to cool and cause a slight air flow, like a real mining cave. If you want to get really extravagant you could do a "hot" mine, make some rocks/boulders from wire and MM or foam, put a small fogger up through holes to look like steam from underground. Have you been to Disneyland? If so, think thundermountain railroad and go for that look.
So come up to the lab and see what's on the slab.

    Check out my photobucket.
I do a Western themed yard haunt called "Vulture Hill".
Last year, I added a mine frame to it and this year rockwork will surround it.
I have made TNT bundles,I have a few crates ,a mine cart, track, ect.
A faux "barbed wire" fence surrounds the yard too.

thanks for all the thoughts. I dont do pnuematics unless I buy it with a ac adapter. I like real scareactors nothing beats the real thing. For all those that do use pnuematics no offense.
a- Im not talented enough to rig a pnuematics up
b- I dont always like the way they move.
